  1. Reduce: 8/48
    = 4/24 = 2/12 = 1/6
  2. Multiply: (3/4)(5/4) = ?
    15/16
  3. Multiply: (1/2)(2/3)(3/4) = ?
    6/24 = 1/4 (note: you could cancel the 2's and 3's to get 1/4 as well)
  4. Divide: (2/3)/(5/6) = ?
    = (2/3)(6/5)
    = 12/15
    = 4/5
  5. Divide: (5/4)/(1/4) = ?
    = (5/4)(4/1) (now cancel the 4's)
    = 5
