Graphing - Part 1

  1. Which axis is vertical?  The y-axis.
  2. What is the point (0,0) called?  The origin.
  3. Plot the points (3,2), (-2, 4), (-1, -5), (0, -5)
  4. Define "x-intercept" in your own words.
    The point where a graph crosses the x-axis.  The y-coordinate is 0.
